This, Cobras are badass cars, they can for sure get down but for some reason it seems like on the street they lack. I've taken 3 of them on the street. Was a long time ago, last one I took was Beater Bombs old orange cobra he sold before he was known for his famous "Beater Bomb" car. Granted he was not driving and it was the guy who just purchased the car but it was the same story with the other 2 cobras. Not dissing them, they are badass cars and I myself wouldn't mind owning one. They just seem to require a specific set up for the street or they are pretty lackluster.

It's mainly because they only came out in stick form and most people can't drive a stick car for ****, especially on the street. I've seen a few guys with th400 swapped cobras they're damn nasty

You're*

Quit trying to deny that that's your car. We all know that is. I found another video of you ricer jumping, then getting reeled the **** in like a trout, squirming for its life. By a basic bolt on ls1.

Think Joey's cobra was near stock or very mild bolt ons. Was a very clean low mileage car either way.

It had 500rwhp. Guess that's not enough for a cobro.

At 12lb it's no where near 122. 116 maybe. I would venture to say most eaton cars don't get near 122. 120ish

Yes.....it could and should get walked by cam car even if the cobro was a 122 car. That's just the reality.

A 122 cooled/iced down cobro at the drag strip ain't the same car on the street. Again....just the reality

Your such a bitter one sided ***. On that same hand you can say most stock LS cars go 104mph and with a cam and bolt ons go 110-112. Still getting drug by a heat soaked Cobra with no cooling mods.

I haven't used a bag of ice at the track yet, but I do see a bunch of CTSV and ZL1 guys icing down and filling tanks.

PS. I ain't against ice at all, I might even get an ice tank one day.

it shifts one too many times. It's hard to pick on a low 8 car, but why the hell a three speed?

Lmao, you don't know jack ****. Any cammed LS1 that doesn't trap at least 115-116 is tuned like **** or driven like ****, or in high DA. I remember when you raced Nick's car, you thought they all were that slow.

It came with the TH400. Nothing wrong with 3 gears. There's a cobra that's been mid 7 in the 1/4 with one.

TH400 has not been surpassed by any new transmission in terms of holding power and close gear ratios

OR robbing power.
There are some extremely high dollar setups that hold more power and rob much less power. We just don't see them often because of the $6k+ price tags they pack.

Flip it and the same thing can be said about 4th gens. Most cam only cars don't get near 122mph. That's the reality of it.
There's absolutely no doubting a cam only 4th gen can smash 122mph quarter, but in reality, most don't get anywhere near that.
Therefore, most (not all) cam only 4 gens will get walked by a 122mph cobra. That's reality man.

That could be said about any stick car.

Seems like you're the bitter one here. I spoke the truth.

My bonestock lscar went 108 stock. Ff&m tested camaros that actually trapped more.

The difference between me and you is i realize that a 120mph cobro is doin pretty good and i know that a 110 mph cammed fcar is not right at all.

I've seen just the opposite. Used to have a pic if nearly every mustang at the track setting around with a ice bag on them.

Oh i know. Lots of shitty examples out there. The difference between me and these furd guys yakking is i know the difference. As you can see from the above comments they think a 110-112 cammed ls1 is what it should be. I've went over 112 in 2 different lbo ls1s.

Again...a 122 mph cobra at the track is likely not a 122mph car on the street. A cammed 122mph ls1 at the track will likely back that up on the street.
