I agree from what i have read theELLISJUANTEK a basic 3 or 4 bolt on Camero goes low 11s. I mean **** a stock LS6 swap car goes easy 10s. Im calling BS on this thread. Hes got a 400+ Cubic in motor swapped LS3 fully built ride. Something must be terribly wrong with it to run that slow. He should be in the mid 8s.

I didn't even need a tune to run 11.68. Tune and tire auto mustang was running 12.3-12.5 when I was at 11.80s

I plan on high tens/low 11s after headers, ported stock IM and flex tune. Still stock converter. Stock driveline stock suspension stock gears. And with a change back to stock rims/tires handles like an m3. Gets nearly 30mpg highway. Bought it for 30k new. Such a terrible car lol

What do u run on street tires? It's not a LS3...its still running a 799 factory casting cathedral head.

10.80s on slicks. 11.30s in my skreet set up @ 129. But my car is slow as ****.

edit:Also hard to tell on the Netz but i was being sarcastic, just playing on the rampant exaggerations I see around here vs reality. You actually own my favorite F-body on this site.

Meehhh....it's a ******* v8 with 20lb of boost goin threw it and probably on a fuel.

A equivalent blower swap on anything ls and you're looking at easy 9s

Lulz yes i trap the same as him or maybe a bit more and he'd walk me pretty good.

Its 17psi lets not get crazy. And yes I am on a Fuel the very potent Cali 91 Octane UNLEADED!!!!! Also tell me more about how well your LS6 will do with 20psi going through it, on pump 91. KABOOOMMMM...

You are not outrunning Mavin on the street. An LS6 was not designed for boost. Your car was but at WOT in 5th with stock tune and no mods you go KABOOOMMM.

exactly so by saying boost for boost he means pull the motor complete new build ground up for boost lower compression(or get higher octane fuel) then put it all back together and then run it against a stock cobra motor. Ridiculous.
