ok so this guy in a 1988 rx7 with 6500 worth of motor/tranny work talks **** to my buddy who just got his T/A and so they race...well the guy has ET streets that he just put on the same day he races my bud in the t/a...anyway my friend just got the car and hasnt raced ANYONE in it so the results were...he spun so bad he just quit...he didnt really want to race yet cause he hasnt practice...now the guy in the rx7 thinks he is king b/c he beat a t/a...so i decide to go race him....now before i tell the results there are a few things you must know

1. rx7 has 6500 worth of motor work
2. rx7 has brand ****** new(first day he has them) ET streets
3. i have 5 yr old bald(when i say bald i mean i am not driving my car right now because i have no traction even in dry weather) bald
4. i have whats in the sig

we raced 4 times...

race 1: blows about 4 cars on me out the hole...i left traction control on...i catch him top of 3rd and blow by him like bat out of hell
race 2: i spin and get sideways and quit- i lose
race 3: miss 3rd gear and quit - i lose
race 4: get my **** together and tear his *** up again

now the excuses:
1. i won only because the guy said his tires slow him down too much at top end and thats the only way i catch him
2. his tires are too big(255 a.k.a smaller than every ******* tire on my car)
3. he still has the stock turbo
4. he actually beat me in a quarter mile(total b.s. since i dont finish the quarter in 3rd but in 4th, and i caught him in 3rd both times)

my response:
1. laughter
2. farting from laughing so hard
3. trying to explain the real reason(i failed to do so)
4. told dude i would get some ET streets so it would be more "fair"

p.s i know what u mean about the tires....i had a similar story with my old tires. They were so bald, i could almost see the steel tubings from the outside.

actually i had planned on going to the track tuesday, but i have 2 bad tires and cant drive the car. dude was up there and when i saw him run he ran 14.1 and a 13.9, then he tried to come over to me and talk ****...response 1 and 2 shortly followed.

i agree with you there..im not denying that fact..its the fact that the guy thinks his car is faster than mine is the point im trying to make...he even made a comment that if my car was so much better howd i lose to him and i simply told him why i lost.

I guess he just does not understand the difference between owning a 1988 Rx7 and 4th Gen F-Body.

He forgot to mention that he is on his second rotary motor/apex seal.... He blew his first one up wile racing a Z28. Guess who paid for the new motor??? His girlfriend's mother....HAHA

This is what you need to do...
1. Purchase some new rubber.
2. Set up race at nearest track (so there are no excuses).
3. Day of race go to local grocery store.
4. After repeatedly punishing this tool at said track, hand over the consolation prize, carrots, that you purchased in step 3.
5. If he doesn't get the joke, let him know it's for "extra horsepower."
