Default '05 Mustang vs STS SS,

So I'm waiting at a light for a freeway onramp on saturday, it was almost 70 degrees out so i had my windows down enjoying the sweet sounds of the turbo. This older gentleman who recently just purchased an '05 GT pulls up and asks me if my old Camaro was fast. At idle my car sounds almost stock so he he didn't know about the beating that he had in store. I told him he had a nice car and said that my old SS might be as fast as his new stang. He said okay, lets see how fast it really is. I didn't rev the motor too much when the light went green and I just let him have a couple car lengths on me. At about 40 I punched it and totally flew past him, he did the classic bitter beer face when the sound of my wastegate hit him as I drove past. I jumped up to 85 and then slowed down to 60 waiting for him to catch up but he got off on the next exit. Poor guy, I hope he doesn't take his Mustang back to the dealer.
There's nothing like the sound of a waste gate dumping into the atmosphere at full boost and throttle. If you guys ever race a Fbody that has the STS kit on it make sure you roll up your window

Good kill, show him the power of the ls1 on boost. Giving people a big jump then walking them like they are standing still is the ultimate kill in my book.

IMO, killing them from the start is the ultimate ownage. Why let them think "Hey my car atleast hung with him down low" or "Yeah I got him off the line and through 1st gear" when they should be saying "Damn, he just smoked me right from the start and it was over right then and there"? That's ownage.

But good kill!

it'll take a lot of modding for an 05 gt to catch a turbo ls1.

Nice car and sweet picture Slowness. My previous car was a black 94 GT, lowered with blacked out windows, just like yours, only i had Chrome Cobra R's w/ the 17X10.5's out back. I loved that car. had it for 7 good years before I sold it w/120k miles and bought my WS6. It had 120k miles on it and i sold it for 7k to give you an idea the shape it was in. Was a sweet car w/ a lot of work done to it. Anyhow, nice pic!

very nice.... thats a good resale price for a 94 GT. This one has been pretty funny.. i use to have mine lowered but i took out the lowering springs in the rear since it was rubbing the wheels (I have American Racing 17x11's w/ 315/35/17's..any bump id go over they rubbed )

Thanks for the compliment, heres another pic for ya.

Sweet pic. Looks badass with the meats out back. I always put big wheels tires in the rear b/c I love the look.

What did you add 96+ tailights to the car? Looks real nice.
