The sad thing is that I actually read all of the 5 pages of that stupid post. The guy didn't even know if it was an LS1 or LT1 and figured the guy was racing even though he himself said that he kept pulling on him the whole time. I'm sorry but you aren't gonna keep pulling on these babies. Oh well let him run his mouth so someone can take his money after he gets smoked.

Launching!
I own a 00' GTP and a 01 WS6, and when my GTP was moded (I returned it to stock), it felt as fast as my WS6 does now (lid & exhaust) from 0-60 but after that the LS1 really comes to life. I began modding my GTP over four years ago, and the aftermarket for the L67 has just boomed in the last 1.5 years where it's not really that hard to get a GTP/GS in the mid high 12's (provided the trans holds). If you wanted too, you could buy a cheap Grandprix GT or other L36 powered car and put it in the 11's because the mods are finally available and you can make anything fast with enough money. I really loved my GTP, I liked being the hunter instead of the hunted with the TA however the TA gets alot more looks then the GTP ever did
In regards with the post on club GP, there is always going to be one or two retarded people on the forum that make everyone look bad.

unfreakinbelieveable. first of all, the supposed "ls-1" owner should NOT have raced with children in the car. 100 bucks says his wife totally told him to back off it. hell I woulda told him to back off it with kids in the back. cant figure out who is the bigger moron, the camaro driver or the GTP idiot. With three people in his car he would've lost completely had the "ls-1" gone WOT. Maybe was aan LT1.
that cracked me up him looking for the z28 badges and the "rectangle exhaust" lol....

His car does run mid-13's @ 105, so it's not THAT unbelievable that he could beat a bone stock auto LS1 if he get's a better launch. granted the LS1 would eventually overcome him, but it sounds like they let off pretty quickly.
Those Regal GS's are great cars. Ultimate sleepers. Doesn't take much to get the comfy 4 door family car into the 13's which is really cool. I wish I had one for a daily driver.

how do you know his car runs mid-13's..his "friend" even said he ran 13.9 and it is unbelievable when they contradict themselves NUMEROUS times...mostly about the part where he said the ls1 kept getting further back when they raced to 80 or whatever...then he goes on to state that he would blow by me at 100...so 20 more mph and the ls1 still falling back, the ls1 will be able to blow by him in that next 20 mph?...i don't think that makes too much sense
