Default 04 cobra vs. 02 formy

Okay my friend was tired of me talking **** cause he always gets smoked in his 96 cobra so he sold it and bought a 04 cobra. He has added a few mods and showed me his dyno of 450 rwhp. What do you guys think the outcome of this race will be my car dynoed at 422 rwhp with the stock plugs, wires. I have changed them out with some nice tr6 ix plugs and some msd super conductor wires so I might dyno a little better if lucky.I am on some brand new nitto drags and he is on the stock tires. I told him I would still pull on him pretty good and he thinks he will **** all over me.

What do you guys think?

I think you will take him. There is a vid floating around of a 415rwhp or so camaro beating a 490rwhp cobra and then losing to a 480rwhp cobra(don't know why he lost to the lower power one. Anyway I think you will beat him. You can always up the jets in the NX kit to 125 to secure your victory.

Well, similar power #'s with you weighing in around 400 lbs less. I think you'll take him.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem. He's going to go up in smoke with 450rwhp on F1's.

After looking at your sig, you'd better go from a dig. I think he'll get you from a roll. 116mph traps just won't cut it. It won't be a race from a dig. It'll be a murder.

You should take him with out much of a problem. (From a Dig) Post up the results when you can. Should be fun.

Well my 116 traps are with me letting off the gas a little ways from the end so I dont hit an eleven. I also just upped the jets to a 125, this will happen this friday as long as the weather permits cause this weekend was very wet.

I just re-read my post. Not sure if it came across right, I meant that you should murder him from a dig. Not vice versa.

I raced a 04 sonic blue with 446 rwhp. We went from 20 to 125. I didnt even that trap that high. His nose at my door the entire race till about 110. He pulled back even then put me at his door by about 125. I put down probably 330 rwhp. I was way lighter and you have him beat by about 200 pounds. I think with traction you should have him easy.

those nittos give kick *** traction, and from personal experience, it has really helped, so im sure with your setup u'll take him on pretty easily. Best of luck man

that nitrous is going to make gobs or tq as soon as u hit it.. i say u get him def. from a dig mainly b/c of tires, and by 1-2 cars from a roll, if anything up the shot to a 125 or 150 with those plugs wont be a problem.. but in the future hes going to get tires, so i would consider upping the shot, or sticking in a cam, he can buy tires and add some more to those #'s pretty easy..

The shot was already upped to a 125 and I bought ls1 edit so I am kinda tinkering with it. Also I called crane and asked them to custom build me a nitrous loving cam hehe, and I am definetly going to have to add some lt's. I just gotta wait a few more days cause my car goes in to get smogged on the 18th then I get 2 free years to play around.

Race him and get it on tape. I think you will win either way, but there's only one way to tell.

MAKE SURE YOU GET A VID!

I think if the drivers are equal then you should kill him from a dig and it will be close from a roll. I'll give you the edge on the roll.
