i have 01 blackbird 380hp 400p/t a friend of mine is talking **** a bout racing for 1grand but hes running a 04 Z06 all stock and all i have done is a k&n and removed the ram air screens and 315/35 on rear.... let me know what you guys think

If you really make 380rwhp and your a good driver you should win.
If both cars are stock (except for your k&n) the z06 will win.

well rice sounds like you and the other guy dont know to much a bout blackbird'TA'S it the rare's TA you can buy only 50 made by gmmg. they make some of the badd'st ls1's and no a k&n is not gonna give me 380hp gmmg. tricks' out the hell out of them but gmmg dont really let out what do they do accept the air lid and cat back but there is a long long... list of mods they do that they do not speak a bout kinda on a hush. hush ya know take a look for your self http://www.gmmginc.net/html/blackbird.html

unless the z06 driver can't race for ****, you're in trouble. even in your blackbird the z06 is gonna mop the floor with you.

i dont know guys the guy that own'd the car before me told me that he had some friends and all 3 of them drove Z06'S he said 1 of them had a cat back and a ram air kit and he still took it i have to say when i test drove the car with him he was out of the world driver!!!! i road in Z06 before i wont lie it will be pretty close of a race im gonna go for it the grand i have saved up for long tubes and o/r y pipe im gonna try to double ill be back on later and post how it went

Otherwise, even if he misses a shift, you're still going to lose. The weight factor, combined with his power advantage will quietly put your money in his pocket.

It'll be a cakewalk with a 100 shot though.

Don't do it. I raced a Blackbird and walked him. I only have 373rwhp and it weighs 3625 with me in it. I haven't raced a 405hp ZO6 yet but I'm pretty sure it would take me.

But if you're that anxious to give away $1K, I'm willing to run you in my lowly Z28.
