Stock 2004's run anywhere from 13.3 - 14.3 depending on driver skill & track from the ones I've personally seen run + owners posting their times on LS1GTO.com.

I even ran against one with a Magancharger that only ran low 13's @ 104 - 105 mph.
The motor has the hp/tq obviously, but the GTO is heavy (3725 lbs without driver) & uses small tires out back with IRS.

The '05 GTO is coming with the LS2, and making 400hp and roughly the amount of torque. They are predicting 4.6 0-60...But I doubt that due to it's heavy weight, unless they have fixed that as well.
As for small wheels I believe they come with 18's stock.(Dont hold me to that)
have a good one

They seem small to me since Mach 1's get the same tires from the factory & they're not up to the task of putting ~330 (crank) hp to the ground, let alone 350 hp.
The '05's have the same tires currently, but a 235 tire/18" wheel option is supposedly coming in a few months...

The stock 04's at the track last fall where hitting mid-low 13's at 101-104 mph. A comparable LS1 Fbody M6 usually traps the same but at 105-109 mph. A stock Fbody will pull a stock GTO due to weight.

It's a driver's race. I ran a T/A LS1 A4 this past Sat. night in my 04 GTO M6. He stayed right next to me until 80 when he shifted to 3rd and I still had some left in 3rd. We ran up to 105 and then he let off, and my rear bumper was about 3 feet out ahead of his front bumper.

I have raced a 01 WS6 6-speed and a 02 camaro ss auto. (both cars had exhaust) I raced the WS6 from a 50 roll and I was beating him by about 2 feet to 120. The ss beat me by about a car, from a 30 roll to 70. Everyone has this misconception of the GTO's being slow, but stock for stock they are about even with a F-body because the GTO has the Z06 6-speed, which has much better gearing than a T-56.

From what Ive read here and ls1gto, Id agree w/ what most are saying here. At the track, anywhere from low 13s to 14 in the 1/4, probly a tick slower than a LS1 fbody due to weight. Most seem to be mid 13s stock. On the street, itd be a drivers race stock vs stock.
