Love it!!
It is so funny to hear these stories. The 5.0's are sweet. I had 8 of em, but nothing, NOTHING is an LT1-4/LS1. It's even a pretty title. Good job. I remember when a set of 3.55's and offroad and a Steeda tune got you a 13.5. I thought those were the days. Thank you GM.

Yea my 86 z28 has knocked off a few stangs on the track and off the track. They range form 5.0's to 4.6's. But guess what I did it all with a 305. Aint that som ****.

But he's a liar, he said he has crossfire, so that rules out the possibility of the motor being an L69, the crossfire is a form of tbi, but less effective. (One injector in each TB, linked togeather) Nobody would downgrade like that.

The last time I took my old 94 GT to the track, It was running a pitiful 14.8 @ 92 (although of course it seemed quick at the time), and two of the four runs I got in that day were utterly annihilating two Gen3 camaros (a z28 and an iroc z). I'm simply assuming that they had 305s and not 350s, by the way they fell back really really quick. That's why I'm ammused when Fbody owners think they have some manifest destiny of performance. They seem to forget how slow the F-twins really were in the 80s and early 90s. It's not like mustangs of the time were speed demons either, but they were far and away better than our cars.

Not quite. I have a bud with a 12 sec 305. I have an 11 sec one (worked). The LB9 is a TPI 305 (M5). Back in the day they were fast for what they were. And I still agree for a 305 they were pretty potent for a 305.
