In a 3300 lb z28 A4 with SY3500. I mean from a roll because I know I'll own him in the 1/4 on slicks if they only get mid 12s.

The reason I'm asking is because I just had a turbo motor built at speed demon in Houston and I want to see if my new engine can take a stock '03 cobra ALL MOTOR. That would be sweet.

It's a 408ci iron block at 8 and [edit three quarters] to 1 compression. stock heads and stock cam. balanced and blueprinted. uhhhhh lots of weight missing from the car, I don't know how much but here it goes, rear seats, spare tire, windshield cleaner fluid/ tank/ pump, front bumper support, some of the sound deadener, visors, has lightweight seats, and lost 10 lbs with new TC.

It also has a lid, slp maf, cutout, and all da free mods.

I think this would be a good race.

i doubt you'll have a problem beating a stock 03 cobra. they only run .5 quicker in the 1/4. Nope I'm not impressed by them to be honest.

true a stripper z28 A4 stock except for a good stall can pull off mid 12s like the cobra, but the cobra would win from a roll. I want to be able to win from a roll because I know I'll blow him away on a track.

Anyway.. If the guy knows how to drive the Cobra... could be ugly.

On the 255(sucky) rear tires right now it blows away the tires in first or 2nd gear at any point between 0 and 50 mph. I go sideways on a 40mph drop in 2nd and it also goes sideways on a partial throttle 2nd gear pull at 15mph(after it shifts to second). and by slicks I meant something like et streets or better, and you don't have to act like a ***** <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" /> . You replied like you might think my setup without boost makes less hp then stock but we figure it puts down about 360.

I really wouldnt worry about a 03 cobra if you can blow away the tires @ 50 mph. Just buy some slicks and you should go really fast. Btw where is your turbo ? why would you be racing without it? Either way im sure you can handle the cobra No Problem. Good Luck let us know how your race goes

This motor makes a whole lot of torque, so it's killing the tires. I got everything I need for the turbo install except a fuel system. I have enough cash for a turbo install and fuel system OR I have just enough for a 12-bolt, just don't know what I should do because my 10-bolt is already making a lot of very obnoxious clicking noises when I drive normal.
