my friend claims he can beat a c5 vette with a 98 ta ws6 with a cut out, 3:42 gears, a lid and decent tires oh and its an auto. he says he can if he shifts the gears himself and i always tell him not to do that. What do yall think?

I Think It Would Be Close If The Vette Was An Auto...but He Would Lose If He Is Shifting Manually

if the c5 was auto as well. and the ws6 didnt shift manually. he might stay side by side with the vette.

The TA will Hang on till about 120 then the aerodynamic efficiancy and weight ot the C5 will take over an pull

Maybe it is that slap stick thing and that down shifting helps slow the car quicker in to a turn or being able to hold it in gear until you want it to shift. Otherwise, I do not know either.



BTW, in a street race with 2 vehicle like these 2 I think it could be a drivers race.
