Nice death and kill.
I won't be running any of them from a 10 mph roll.

Doesn't surprise me at all with those mods, thats probably a solid low 13 second GTP if not high 12's. My brothers 98 GTP with an Borla exhaust 3.25" pulley and a cold air intake runs 13.7's without traction.

Nice kill and death, and that GTP is runnin' faster than 13's, that should be a low 12 if not high 11 car with a good driver, the problem with them is traction and the top end, I was very suprised you didn't pull on the top end because thats when the blower stops making power.

i dont know about a 12 sec car. my friend has one of the fastest GTP's in these parts with cam, ported blower, pulley good tune and headers and built tranny. i raced him from a 60 punch and left him in the dust, didnt race him from a dig but his best time at the track is a 13.4 with slicks. he knows more about these cars than anyone. and knows his car should be able to brush 12's with his setup but it takes a built motor and serious head work and blower swap to go much faster.. 11sec car my ***...... something is wrong with your car dude.

It was not my car I was speaking about, and yes now that I look at it 11 seconds is to fast, that is my bad, but 12 seconds is what it should be, if that car was still a 13 second he should be pissed and if you go to www.clubgp.com you see that there are a lot of 12 second GTP's and the only blower swap I ever see on a GTP is either go to a centrifugal, turbo, or just a Gen V Eaton (it is still an M90), and also there has been a 10 sec car that uses the Eaton M90, no blower swap.

when i ment blower swap built motor and head work i ment you must need one or the other to be running well into the 12's. my friend is on clubgp.com check his ride out.
http://www.clubgp.com/cgi-asp/detail...ntOwnerID=6690

he hasent updated his track time but it went 13.4 last time around.

Make sure your friend checks out some of the L67 related forums. He can run a stock motor into the 11s with the right setup, as many w-body folks have.

The Ws-6 and I are going to run again in the next month or so; this time, he will be on the 100 shot. We will be installing a turbo on the GTP within the next few weeks and looking for upwards of 430whp. (turbo specs: t04S 60-1 0.70 a/r)

Whereabouts do you live...or the WS6 for that matter?

Sorry, but I gotta ask an ignorant question here. Do both the GT's and GTP's have the blower, or only the GTP's?

The GTs don't have the blower, no.

Nice...wonder if I've seen him around...sounds like it will be a sick GTP when it is all finished up. Most that I see around here are driven by punk high schoolers that know little if any about cars.

I think the WS6 could use a tune since he has done all the bolt-ons. Nice race though.

He's in the military based at hurlbert. His car looks stock, I'm not sure if you can see the control arms, but you can sure hear them when you're in the car.

You can see them if you know what you're looking for...he must have rod ends in his. I've gone through 4 sets myself, and got tired of the clunking. Rod ends will be used for the track only...poly/poly otherwise. I don't go by Hurlburt Field much since I'm at Eglin, but I'll keep an eye out.
