Raced a 05' GT. Sorry guy!
Well I was on my way to work and saw him getting on the interstate so I got next to him and he didn't want any. So I speed up and got in front of him. Then he decides to go ahead and try me. He whipped into the other lane and he has it floored. So I nail it doing about 70. He didn't have a chance. I jumped a car length on him and by the time I hit 100 It was about 5 car lenths. I slowed down and he turned off. He had paper tags and all. I felt a little sorry for him. How lucky my first GT I ever raced was an 05'

He was revving at me and calling me to start with. Bitch is home cryin.

Nice kill
It was cool that the guy ran you with a brand 'spankin' new car.
I would like to add that I think he let up after he saw how bad *** your ride is. I say that because 5 car lengths from 70 to 100 is quite a bit.
Either way, nice kill. Be safe but have fun

I've personally seen one put down 286/333 a few weeks ago. Unless theres an 80 year-old fart behind the wheel, I just dont see an auto Z28 with only headers and a lid putting 5 cars on him.
Shame, all those good looks, and they forgot the most important part ... to make them fast.

05 GTs DO NOT dyno anywhere close to the numbers you quoted.

Ahhh, wait for the aftermarket stuff to get out there. Also, I think the GT500 addresses the "Not fast enough issue" or at least, it should.

So what kind of rwhp numbers am I gonna need in my future LS1 to beat these high dollar GT500s, Shelbys, Z06s, Vipers, etc.? From what I've heard I'll need at least 500 rwhp and I'll have to make the tires stick like glue also. I can't believe how crazy some of these beasts are getting. Hell, pretty soon there won't even be a performance aftermarket, lol.
