It'llrun

I think I'll either be in my friends black 95GT or my brothers Ranger (he doesn't want me to race it though). That is, IF it's not raining, which the forecast is calling for.

He prolly won't run in D/I because he hates racing the tree. I think I'll get him to go in "Pro," unless their calling it "Combo" tomorrow! They can't seem to figure out the name they like best. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Keep in mind, a good driver can expect 12.70's or better from a stock 03 Cobra. Only a few drivers (relatively) can expect better than 12.70's with only those 3 mods in their WS6. I think it would be pretty close.

ya i guess i can agree with that. I guess its kinda what ur car is set up for. I saw a stock M6 z28 with a Drag launch kit (+Lca's and all the other good bars <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) and exhaust run a 12.78. The cobra ran a 12.91 but i think the driver was slow on the 1-2 shift.

Hey guys this is just a little info on my car. When it was new with 2000 miles on it and all i had was a lid with a stock filter it ran a 12.8 @ 110 and change now i have more miles plus a k&n filter,mac headers and orp,Translator,315 drag radials and all the free stuff.The filter alone gave me a little over 5 hp on the dyno.All i can say is that i have raced 4 new cobras so far and have walked all 4 very easy.Im sure they were stock but that is why i left them as easy as i did.I'm not nocking the new cobras at all because i like them but i think the ls1,s can hang better than most give them credit for.But if i get beat thats ok it wont be the first time.That,s what the aftermarket is for <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

With a 100 shot, you should win pretty easily against a stock Cobra. That one in the videos is no slow poke though. From the looks, that car should run 11's with no trouble. These cars respond to light mods in a big way. I've already seen 10's from one with what we can say is about the most mods yet. However, the valve covers hadn't been removed yet. I have no doubt, "It'llrun!" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'm waiting to see one with the KenneBell twin screw on it.... They got 617rwhp from one they said had just their "full out" supercharger kit (which includes a cool air kit and a computer program), done to it. Nothin internal at all. That's insane.

Didnt realize this was still alive. The modded '03s trap a lot lower than I would have expected. A guy at corral with the same mods (give or take) (460RWHP) was trapping around 117. I would say from a roll trap speed is where your guess should come from. You think yours will trap 114-115 now? 114 is my guess should be a good race up top. If you have the stock catback you may even be able to find annother tenth with a cutout?? Anyway man you need to set this up first thing next season. But remember the '03 is close to maxed out with that blower for now, and I think you have a lot of room to Grow <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

IT'LLRUN.Im not saying that they cant be made to run.But i think that the stock ones are not that impressive.I have a good friend with a 96 cobra that has a blower and little else and it runs mid 10s at 130+.I still think that my ws6 with just what i have done will hang with the one in the video.

He replaced the engine after water damage and so it's a no mileage stock setup with (I think) a NOVI 2000. He just dyno tuned it and saw 464rwhp when done!! I was impressed and he's afraid it will break now. Anyway, the Cobra in the video is pretty fast. I'd think it's capable of 11's with the right driver, if he's got the mods I've heard he has. From what I've seen, he's not a very good driver...Well, not YET anyway. I'm just guessing on what's done, since I haven't seen it myself. But I did see video of him driving and he could use some lessons. <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> At least some practice.
