WRX? i have a slightly moded t/a and one of my co-workers just bought a wrx and he has an exhaust an intake,and nitrous well i just want to know if i could take him? my mods are exhaust,85mm maf,slp cold air,holley filer and an airlid

Re: WRX? Depends on how much NOS he has and if he uses it for the race. IF he doesn't then you will easily beat him, providing you don't blow the launch completely.

Re: WRX? What year is your TA?? He has a 14 sec. car Stock.With a 100 shot he will take you 0-60. You might come close in the 1/4. Nitrous adds so much TQ and ontop of the turo. ERR They also hook well. Its alot of stress for that small motor but while it lasts high 12's are easy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: WRX? you will take him. When you race hes going to smoke you off the line, so dont expect to catch up to him till about 70-90 (if it has a few bolton's). after a certain speed, AWD actually slows down the car since 2wd acl at high speed is faster than awd acl.

Re: WRX? REX has trannie made of glass. Crappy trannie + AWD = breakage sooner or later. So if you race him enough and he does enough of those 6k rpm drops, 1st gear will go bye bye. Re: WRX? I have two F-car buddies who also have WRX's, and their WRX's run 13.5@99 and 13.7@98 respectively with chip, down pipe, catback, and boost controllers... The slower one is a wagon, but he also got his WRX much more recently.
