2001 Camaro SS vs 2003+ Cobra
Quick question for you all, I have recently installed a cam 230/232 .600" 110 LSA, new springs retainers etc..., Longtube headers with true duals dumped before the rearend, and 4.10 gears. Do you think I have enough to take a 2003+ cobra? Ive never raced a newer cobra so I dont know. I just hear all this talk like there the fastest thing on the street. Anyone with similar mods run one and what was the out come?

I ran an03 SVT Cobra a while back. sad to say he got me out of both runs. At the time, I only had a cold air kit,SLP LM Exhaust w/pacesetter headers and a stock automatic transmission/rear end vs. his Eaton Supercharger, Diablo sport programmer and his supercharger pulley swap. If he has any of those mods, then beware. Thats all he has to do to yield 400+ to the wheels. The cam mod you are doing should yield some results, a good torque converter would be helpful as well if you are an automatic guy like me. I had him al the way through first gear. Once we both hit second, his Supercharger engaged and that was it. If you have a good flowing set of heads or heads that have been worked, it will make him feel bad for paying $38,000.00 + for his Ford.Breathe some N20, and he will hide in shame!

Hmm, with 575 to the ground, I'd guess they didn't. Ya just haven't run a big dog yet. At least a big dog that can drive. What's your best time with that setup?
