Default BMW R1150R (bike) goes down. 70-110

Guy in one of these (saw him in my rear view mirror)...

I slowed to 70 on a clear stretch of freeway, he came around to my right with a full head of steam. I dropped to 3rd and halted his progress, shifted into 4th and put a car on him. We shut down at 110.

It was fun!

Edit: Disclaimer- it wasn't a 3 honk and go, so maybe he let off when pulling next to me and then got back on it. I know I shouldn't have been able to pull on him like I did, or should I have? Either way, we exchanged thumbs ups.

Considering that "85 hp" could still put him on a 12.09 1/4 e.t. I would say that's a pretty good run!

Good run man!

That particular bike loses its advantage from a roll. Its about as areodynamic as abrick. Still its nothing to sneeze at, but with your setup youshould of laid him out cold.

Thanks for the info! Hmmm, I guess I did halt his head of steam then.

With the heads, yes. With the 90/90 and QTP HVMC LT's, no.
I can't make it past tech anymore and broke a few too many parts last few times out, so I'm not going to the track anymore for a while.
