Was at a gas station waiting for the civic to show, when a badass looking red C5 pulls up. We get to talking and we go out to race. Went from about a 20 roll, as soon as we hit it, he instantly started pulling. He didn't pull very hard until he shifted into second, then he started putting buslengths on me. When we talked, he said he had a 3400 stall, stock 2.73 gears, 23x/23x .5xx/.5xx comp cams cam, intake, ls6 manifold, headers, Corsa x-pipe and exhaust, and stock runflats on Z06 rims. My car is stock minus zip-tie and !Corsa exhaust.

Second I ran a civic hatch, full interior, typical civic n/a mods, etc. Went from a 25 roll, he put about a fender on me in 1st, I inched up a bit when I shifted to second, shifted to third and around the middles of third I started walking him hard. By the top of Fourth I had 2+ cars on him. Second race was identical, with me pulling at about the middle of 3rd gear. Both races were at ~3600 race weight, as I had a 225 lbs. passenger filming the runs. Vid will be up as soon as I buy a firewire cable.

Ran a modded C5, got stomped.
Ran a civic hatch and won by ~2 cars.

Not exactly sure on the civic, had quite a bit of n/a stuff done to it. Zip-tie is like a super gimpy ram-air esque intake, maybes adds 5whp? Add another 5whp from having no cat-back, and there you go

And thanks for running me yesterday. All & all happy with the performance of my Hawk! It's getting there! Obviously HPE's tuning helped out a lot.

Again, good kill on the Civic and dang the red C5 mentioned is bad!
