Default Got busted street racing...

Well almost...

Drop off the wife at Giant, head off to Blockbuster to get some movies.

Pull up to a redlight and a Dodge SRT4 revs. I figure what the hell, no traffic in front of us. We go...

I get traction right away and (seriously) put about 2 to 3 cars on him by 70 mph.

Then I see the guy put his brakes on hard and then see the red and blues. I was doing about 75.

Pulled over to the right line and finally into the Blockbuster I was originally going to...

Lady cop pulls in behind me and I thing I'm fucked...

She walks up, have everything ready, her radio starts going off about some guy with a gun.

She mentions she saw me pull out pretty fast and knew I was going to go at it at the next light.

She evidently didn't realize I was racing the SRT4 because I murdered it so bad.

She took the call and the guy with the SRT4 (who had pulled into the same place didn't even look or talk to me.

They are either slower than I thought from a dig, or the guy couldn't launch worth a damn.

Now tell us the best part, how did your wife react? If that was me I would rather have been hauled off in cuffs than have to face the ride home with the fire breathing dragon riding shotgun.

So.......I guess the moral of the story is to drive fast all of the time and never get accused for street racing......

I didn't realize that the piggies are able to read minds and predict the future now. ******' pigs on a power trip are the worst ones. I just love it how they assume that because you're doing 78 in a 75, you must be a drug kingpin that is supplying the whole western half of the US, judging by how they act of course. Cops hate law abiding citizens, lol. Okay, rant over.

To answer a few of the questions.

I don't usually waste my time and will usually never bite in an area like that. I was a bit ticked off, the guy revs at me, and I need to get over to the far right lane a couple blocks up to pull into blockbuster.

My wife ragged me a bit but she's cool. She was like, at least you embaressed the guy.

It was a Friday night, my exhaust is kind of loud at the moment (probably making me sound like I'm going faster than I was) so I can see where the cop was coming from. Didn't bother me. I was the one breaking the law. Hell she said I had a nice car and seemed to like it so she may have let me off even if she hadn't got that call. She seemed pretty cool.

You do realize you make 360 to the rear wheels? That will get ugly real quick for a stock skittle.

Haha. That is awesome whenever a cop positively comments on a F-Body.
