Damn, that car is pretty damn fast. Not quite like that turbo TA/Supra vid, but I'm impressed. Of course if it's making 601hp, it had better be fast.

yeah id like to see the tt trans am go up against that evo and watch that vid have the trans am run 20 psi and watch it blow by that evo

Once you start modding, I dont think its an even playing field any more. Seems to me that stock vs stock is the most accurate way to truely compare cars.

Yeh its definately fast, you can tell it doesnt have any torque by the way it was playing catch up with the LS1 even from a roll.

well the reason for the jump by the camaro over the evo looked like boost lag. It seemed to spool pretty quick, but he shoulda been doing a little brake boostin so the camaro didnt jump on him that bad. I bet he didnt really care though, seeing as he knew he would win anyway.

Impressive EVO. I wouldn't want to run him.

But I do wonder aboutt he claim of the Ca,aro. A h/c 100 shot LS1 should be 520 rwhp or so and that EVO absolutely blew past him. Somehow I think the LS1 in the vid was overhyped.

Not taking away from the power of that EVO though. Very impressive.

I said it before but I so think the LS1 was way overhyped. I have 100 more hp to the ground than that EVO and I dont think I could walk a cammed and sprayed LS1 like that.

Just to shed some light on the subject that Evo is probably hitting 135 or so in the Quarter. Easy 10 second passes. Guys spraying on that setup are either flirting with or hitting high 9's.

I'm pretty sure this race happened where I lived and I'm pretty sure the Camaro is a member here. If it is then its a cam only car making a little over 400 rwhp without nitrous. His name on here is SilverLS1. He rarely posts. Maybe he will chime it.

I "tried" to race that same EVO on Brent lane Sat. afternoon, he must have been playing with me, cause it would have been much worse if he was full in it.
