round 2: 00 m6 z28 vs 00 a4 z28
About a week ago I posted about loosing by a fender to my friends 00 A4 z28. I granny shifted my car since it was the first time i ever raced it, but i had my revenge last night. We decided to go from a 20mph roll at his request and quickly found a nice street to go on. I put it in first gear and we cruised for a bit untill the honked 3 times. He jumped his own 3rd honk which left me to play catch up, but i made up for it. I pulled on him nice and hard in first gear and when i shifted second was about half a car behind. As i barked 3rd gear i looked to see him about a car behind me, but mid way through 3rd i was only about 2/3 of a car ahead. We shifted into 4th where i started to pull away a little more then shutdown due to traffic. It was a fun run and i got my revenge. This time i shifted a bit quicker and it made all the diference.

Agreed. Where I shift, if I don't let off the gas ='s limiter...
