Video: RENNtech SL65 at the 'strip
... you know you love it

I backed this run up with an 11.38, 11.40, 11.41 and 11.44. The car's got more in it, but I need to tweak the program first - it shifts too late and hits the rev limiter in the 1-2 shift, robbing a couple MPH and maybe a 10th. I'll assemble the best-filmed runs into a montage ("Mercedes Carnage 3") -- and I'll be back

Launching with 740 RWTQ is... delicate. The car's traction control system helps, but the best runs when when I didn't make it engage.

Sheesh, ease up on the cameraman. He was a volunteer from the spectators; he'd never taped car races before, and he was using my Optura 500, which is about the size of a box of playing cards - easy to shake around.
Next time I'll bring my 6lb HD camera -- that'll smooth things out
