Who says there's never a cop around.
When I commute from the Shop in Seattle, you have to go down
a one way called Eastlake and pass through a major intersection and then
a couple of hundred feet to the on ramp to Interstate 5 Southbound.
Cars cue up for almost a half a mile waiting their turn to the on ramp.
In many cases, though, there are those who can't wait they're turn.
They drive the parallel lane next to the left turn and then at the last minute,
they cut left in front of those waiting and then on to the on ramp.
SO, I'm waiting my turn and a half an hour of stop go stop go and finally,
I'm up.....I go to turn and out of the corner of my eye, two girls in this
Miata cut in front of me...I lean on the horn and both hold up both hands
(the driver too) and give me four middle fingers.
Problem was there was a motorcycle cop tucked in-between some parked cars
and stepped out and motioned the girls over to a taxi zone that was empty.
He even caught them both with their fingers in the air.
Well, I honk and whistle out my window and give the cop thumbs up as I pass
as well as all the other motorists behind me.
The driver was already crying. The cop was laughing.
What a glorious day!!!

THAT'S AWSOME! I'd laugh my *** off at them.
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who do that. Especially when I'm driving on I65 between chicago and indianapolis (specifically hobart to west lafayette) and all the illinois drivers pull into the right lane when there is a gap in the slower moving traffic and then try to cut back into the packed left lane ahead of where they started. It burns me up BAD. I've almos been hit by people who move over and cut you off to the point where you have to brake or they will sideswipe you. ANd if you get one of them behind you they follow about three feet away...while in solid traffic.

serves them right, no matter the gender or car. i always applaude when an 18wheeler stops people from passing up everybody when a lane is closed and everybody else gets over, but a few fly up to the front and slip in.

This same type of scenario happened to me actually. I was just waiting there caught at a red light when Two cars come from the left turn lane to cut me off and get in front. This was a construction zone and they came back from a half mile back. So, me being me and having a short temper I layed on the owner and pounded the accelerator and was an inch off their rear bumper...
Well, a mile later we hit a light. I am behind these 2 douchebag cars. They all come out of their cars (~5). Well, I am alone yet I STILL get out of my car and tell them my beef. One comes and tries to push me back in my car. Well, I told him to **** off and get the hell back in his car. Another fatass did the whole "macho" thing but I didnt flinch and told his *** to eat another twinkie.
Moral of the story....5'10 and 175 pound kid takes on 5 adults and makes them get back in their cars and tells them off.
