That's about what I would expect with the old F2...you would definitely get him up top. His "mods" are !muffler...that's pretty ghetto. What was up with the 455? It sounded like it was hardly working. Does a big block just shift that much lower?

It's all about a 5200 RPM redline man. when he had it dyno'ed in his previous T/A, it made 490 ft-lbs. at 2500-ish rpms, and made peak horsepower (~300) at 3000 rpms.

With that kind of power/torque I'd have to say that was no stock SRT-4.

I think the problem is is that the 455 makes the power at such a low RPM that it can't rev enough to make enough use of the power...if that makes any sense? I love that video though...reminds me of times I had with my cousin rodding around in my uncle's beat 74 Charger that he gave him. It was pretty slow but we would win a race every now and then (raced a guy on a 4 wheeler in a ditch down a gravel road, a guy on a moped, one of those John-Deere 6 wheeled things) and going faster then 100 which was a feat in itself, it was incredibly loud because it had an exhaust leak and there was a small hole in the passenger side in the floor. Good times...

455 out of an HD truck if I am not mistaken. I am pretty sure the cam specs, etc. are made for low-end towing torque.
