Default 996 TT with Garretts

Does anyone know the probable and max rwhp levels for a 996 with Garretts, and all supporting mods?

I knew a guy that had like an exhaust and chip and was well over 400 awhp. With turbo upgrade and supporting mods I would say 600+ to the tires pretty easy. Somebody with more experience with those cars with that extensive of mods would have to speak up to tell you for sure though.

Just check out Gemballa or Techart's websites. Be forewarned, their torque figures are in Nm instead of Ft/lbs.

There is a guy here in town who has a 996TT with 'x50' package, header, chip, garretts that says he has 700 hp. I'm wondering how bad I'll lose.

Info on the RUF

The Ruf make tree step of power for the new RT 12 based on the new Porsche 997.
The Rt 12 was powred by a twin turbo motor of 3.8 litre, and can choose tree step of power.
The first have 530Hp for 750Nm,
the middle step was for 560hp for 790Nm
and for ultimate step the incredible power of 650Hp for 870Nm.
For the based step of 560Hp the Rt 12 was declares 350Km/h for the max speed and 3,5 second for 0 to 100km/h,
these performances are extraordinary if we think that the carrera gt employs 3.9 seconds to reach 100km/h and a maximum speed of 330km/h.
Unfortunately for the time being the performances of the model they are unknown from 650hp but as something can be realized of really superlative.
On the front RUF mounts 19 inch wheels, on the back are 20 inch examples.
The undercarriage is tuned in a way that enable it to substain speeds of more than 350km/h. As an option a system can be ordered that increases the road clearance of the RUF with 5cm.
On request is the Ruf Rt 12 with an rolbar available.
That can be with leather or alcantara.

And that is with pump gas...with racing fuel things would get crazy.

There are several 996TTs making over 900 hp, and one under construction that expects closer to 1200 hp.
