EVO vs GSXR600 and 380 RWHP LS1
So a z28 owner on al ocal forum had called me out for revenge cause last time we raced from a roll i beat him pretty easily. The first time we didnt go from a dig cause he wasnt on drag radials.
so he gets more mods including a tune and some drag radials and decides to call me out for a rematch. I accept and we meet at a spot that is on some concrete, and half the time prepped with some VHT. We line up and he decides not to heat up his radials cause it's his daily driver and with a baby ont he way he really doesnt want to break anything. So off the line i get about 2-2.5 cars and after that he doesnt pull an inch and i dont pull an inch all the way up to 120 mph. There were a coupld die hard v8 guys out there that were pretty impressed with the car, one being an owner of the gsx-r 600. He asked me if i wanted to race and i of course accepted. I knew id probably lose, but i jsut like seeing what happens. So we line up, he heats his tire, and i get a couple cars out of the hole. I saw him wheelie a couple times so he must have had a bit of trouble. once i was in third i saw him start to pull pretty hard, and he almost evened up with me. I get into 4th and his pull slows, but he's still reeling me in, he passed me when i was about 100 mph and then we slowed. We get back to the line and he says he had a bad launch, so i ask him if he wants to go again to see if he can get a better launch. So we go again, i guess he gets a better launch cause this time he passed me at 90 mph. Once again we get back to the line and he is impressed with the AWD launc and wants to go for a ride. I take him for a ride and let him experience his first 6000 rpm AWD launch. he absolutely loved it.
anyways, here's the mods on the z28.
Gomer Grind Cam, CC springs, hardened pusrods, LS6 intake, ASP Underdrive Crank, Flotec LTs and Y-pipe, Magnaflow Cat-back, Bo White Ported TB, Ripper Shifter, RAM Power HD Clutch, SLP Lid, HP Tuned, aluminum drive shaft
The gomer grind cam is a custom grind, so i dont know the specs, but he dynoed 380 rwhp.

12.09 is very believable for a lightly modded evo. The only part I had trouble with is the 10.8 possible bike not destroying him. Although not every rider is going to be able to pull anything faster than an 11.5 so I can even deal there. Nice car man.
