I just came back from racing my boys 04 COBRA with my 99 SS..we went from a 10 MPH roll and we were dead even from 1st to end of 3rd, but we shut down because of the cars in front of us...I have a weak flowmaster exhaust and all he has is a catted X-pipe with SLP cb..I really thought I was gonna lOse. What do you guys think happened?? Could it possibly be the drivers skill or what?? We will run em next week, but this time I'll run him with my 04 cobra..I was very very surprised on our race today cuz I couldn't believe we were dead even..I thought he would pull away right after 2nd gear..**** HAPPENS I GUESS

Yeah I think it HAD to be driver skill cuz there's no way I should of kept up..

Ya when i had jsut full exhaust and 3.73's i lost pretty badly to my buds 04. He had nothign done. We were dead even when he started in 4th adn i started in 3rd lol. They are damn fast cars just a shame they more then a liter less then us. Really limits thier HP with out going crazy with internals basically removing all the stuff that made it a fast stock car. It is silly the power tehy can make with mostly bolt ons. He is a main reason i did a turbo. He dont know yet lol. GJ on the kill.
