Default ripped down a 05 goat

i was on my way home last night, i was in the "7" and i was just crusing around not really looking for anything, but as i was coming to a stop light i saw an interesting set of lights coming up from behind. i couldnt really tell what they were from but when it got next to me i finally realized what it was. it was a 65ish year old guy with his wife in the car out for the night i guess. but i noticed the front end and hood and seen that it was the 05 model. got pretty excited but then i thought that old people really dont like to race that much so when the light turned green, i was first in the right hand lane and he was second in the left hand lane; i left the car in third and just gave it some gas.. chirped the tires and just went on, well then i hear some nice skretching tires and see the old man go fling past me. i got reall excited then and finally cought up to him and then he just took off. Gaaay! and then i tried getting next to him again but he wouldnt let me. so finally i worked my way next to him and dropped it in second and then i heard him get on it and just took off. at the end of second i was 5-6 cars ahead of him and was still pulling hard. so i let off when i put it in third and he went fling by a few seconds later. when i got up next to him i told my g/f to wave to the nice old man and before we had the chance, he "twiddled" his fingers at me like a gay guy. so we parted our ways and i came home and he went off. but i was real surprised how well the car did against that. i thought it would have been a lil closer race

What is a 05 goat? I usually hear people refer to a Lightning as a Goat...
Just wondering... Nice kill by the way.

times are 11.8 at 116 and i took it to a dyno but it wouldnt read mine or my buddies cars right due to the three speeds and 4.10 gears. couldnt get a 1-1 reading. but if you do the calculating from the times and et's. puts me about 445 or at the flywheel and 347 at the wheels. that in a 2850lb car makes for an awesome ride
