90' IROC-Z with heads and cam VS 2000 SS This guy I knew from high school comes up to me at work and says “Wanna race? “ I told him when he says NOW.. So I tell him to meet me at a gas station across the street.. He said he has a 90’ IROC Z28 drop top with a 350 and a 5-speed. He also said he had done a head and cam swap and dynoed at 390!! So I was a little worried but I said **** it lets go.. My car is a 2000 Camaro SS A4 with lid, Pacesetters LT catted y-pipe, cutout. Once I started up my car I could see the look on his face 
.. So out of the gas station we pull into a 2 lane street uphill.. he pulls to the far lane and I pull right next to him. I wait for him to gun it, he punches it and so do I. Going about 65 or 70 im about 2 car lengths ahead. We started at about 10mph.. Then we take a right to a straight away. I pull to the far lane and he comes up FAST going about 30mph. So I drop it to 1st and punch it.. I passed him at about 65mph and then I hit 120mph and I am at LEAST 6 car lengths ahead. He has been **** talking me and my bro for years and I finally had a chance to SS-MOKE his A$$.. Oh yea and he didn’t pay me my ******* $$MONEY$$.. I kept calling him but he don’t answer.. I wonder why!?!?!

'90 convertible IROC's are EXTREMELY rare. And that transmission is a swap, unless the car was originally a 305 car. 350s never came in convertibles (except for a few that were converted aftermarket) and 5-speeds NEVER came with 350s.
Very nice car I'm sure. Too bad TPI induction leaves A LOT to be desired.. especially after 3600 RPM. Tuned my ***.
