C5 vs Z28
Just wondering what the probable outcome is in a race between a Z28 and C5 would be, both 6spd.
2000 Z28, headers, 3" exhaust, y-pipe, ram air, lid, ls6 intake manifold, asp underdrive pulley, 230/234 cam, 305 Nitto drag radials, 3.42 gears. Last dyno at 385RWHP.
1999 C5, stock except intake and exhaust, street tires.
What would happen from a stop and also a 80 mph roll. I got the Z a friends got the C5, and says he'll have me from a 70-80 mph roll and say's he got the edge up top. What do you think?

I'd have to say the Z28 also. I bet you know you'll win and you just posted to gain more confidence through members' responses, huh? J/K but I think you'll take him pretty badly.

You have 385 rwhp, the Vette has around 325-330 rwhp, so it's in the bag for you unless you totally screw up driving. Stock for stock they are about equal in power and performance, with a little advantage going to the Vette. Go own his ***...get it on vid too, lol.
