Ok, here is the story short and sweet. I got my TA back from thunder about 2 weeks about with a 224 cam and TR brand new short block. I put about 1900 on the new block. There is one of my homeboys I grew up with that just got a vortech superchargered 02 corba. He has been punking all the Z's and TA's in the near by area and no one wants to run him. I see one of his friends hanging around and let his friend know that I want to try him out just for kicks. I never let on the fact of the work beening done to the TA. To kept it short I beat this dude by about two car lengths two times and he is crying for another run. Remember I only have about 2K on the break in time. I circle back to the crowd that came out to watch the race playing another one bites the dust and just drive off into the sunset. Now he doesn't even speak to me after that. What's up?

dont be so quick to judge, i dont know every damn year the cobras were made , so it was a late model cobra before the newer cobras, nice kill.

The only 02 cobra's(same motor as 03 cobra) were made for Australia with the driver seat on the right side of the car, only about 200 made.

My bad....this dude has a 02 GT with cobra embles on it and it does look pretty nasty the way he has it dropped. Now it someone is a little up setup because a stang got whipped well that's just the way it is. As you can see I don't have a million post but I have been moding and owned my 99TA brand new. With that said I have been around the block in this game for a few years with this car. Like I said my mistake on the cobra thing but this dude had an aftermarket vortech supercharger and I do think this GT would whip any stock 03 or 04 corba but thats not the point. I beat him......

Other mods.....just to mention the majors things. Headers,ORY,SY3500,224/563,LCA. I still can add LS6 intake, throttle body, 3.73, a better catback ex borla or hooker

Plus other small mods like EGR removed, TBB, FRA things like that

Dont know about WHIP on any stock 03/04 cobra, i knew a guy who had a 2001 GT with bolt ons and a Vortech, he was only putting down around 330rwhp I have met a guy around my area with a 02 GT that is making 370rwhp with a Vortech, his tuner said he wouldnt want to push the 2v any further if he wants longevity.... So all that money with bolt-ons,vortech,tune etc he's about the same rwhp range of a stock 03/04 cobra , granted the cobra may weigh a bit more, but hey, what would you rather be seen in?
