'05 GXSR 1000 from a dig....
I had him to 80 and he started pulling hard when I hit 3rd. He got me by 7 or 8 at the big end. He wasn't strapped and had trouble keeping the front end down. I was happy considering what I was up against.

It was me. I left at 3K rpm like a wet noodle and was 1/2 throttle through first gear, short shifted to 2nd at 10K rpm and then rolled into the throttle up to redline. I was on one wheel the whole time. Then I hit third hard and put it on the back wheel for a split second again. He was a fender to half a car in front of me till the middle of second. That was were I started pulling like the proverbial freight train. I shut it down at 148 mph (indicated).
Why beat up on my bike just for little old Charlie?

This was at our private track, no timeslips. I've gotta get the beast in to do the tranny etc. I'll break it in and go to a TnT at Pacific afterwards. I'm looking for low 11's high 10's when she's done.

Are you able to cut a good 60' with the IRS? I woudl be scared shitless of breakin them constantly. There is a couple drive shaft places that build some bad *** half shafts that they will warrenty to go any et you want them to. that wold be mint for you. I can only imagine the price to swap a 12 bolt into a car that had IRS.
Side note i see that you have/had a DSM. Glad to see it is in teh condition that mine and 99% of the rest of the DSM worlds cars are. Blown and thrown....out that is. lol peace

I'm still workin' on the 60's. I'm putting on the MJ brace for the diff cover before I drop the MT's to 20 and hit it hard. I've seen guys with IRS get 1.-17 outta them so I know it can be done. I'll never see anything like a 1.35 that a solid can give ya but that's ok. Yeah, it blew up and now I have another one in the driveway for one of my boys.

A win is a win. I didn't know I had to run the bike on full kill everytime out. I will usually just drive my bike or car just enough to beat whoever. Ask Charlie...even when I race my car, if I am far enough ahead by 2nd gear I let off or pedal the car and gate the person. I never spray my car unless I am going to lose for money. If someone wants to brag about beating me for free or "hanging with me" I just ask them to line up again for a little money. They usually back down nicely after that.
**Not a slam at Charlie. Probably one of the coolest racers in these parts he just doesn't run for money**
