mid 90s 911 vs GTO
well this past weekend my car club a headed out to IL for a cookout. on the way out there i was driving my buddy's 04 GTO and I saw a red porshe closing in fast,I asked him if it was ok to run the porshe, and he said hell yeah. so i dropped it into 4th as he got beside me and i stomped on it. I started walking him when i shifted into 5th and when i looked down i saw that i was doing 140 mph and was like Holy Fu^k. So i slowed down as the guy in the porshe proceed to leave. The look on his face was priceless when i started walking him. He was pissed. just wish i was in my car, i woulda beat him bad.

This is my 12.01 post, which i ran on Friday

i did this all in the same week,
the following week i went, raised the rev limiter to 6400 and was told i could run through the traps in 3rd gear, i bounced off the limiter, and ended up running a 12.13, i broke my LSD after that run, so im waiting for a 12 bolt, and i have a clutch in my room, im goin for 11.6 SI w/ the 12 bolt 4.10s and clutch
Feel free to ask questions, ive heard just about all of them, from great job could you give me some advise, to thats BS you have a cam or gears

No offense man, but those weight savings would not be that substantial. 3480 lbs including the driver means removing about 200 lbs from the car, and I have to agree with KB that those items listed would barely top 100 lbs, if even that.
I could see your times being that low, with those power numbers, with an incredible launch, but it doesn't make sense for your speed to be that high. My car weighs 3615 with me in it, and we're dynoing nearly the same, but I'm barely hitting 110 MPH half the time, and I don't think -200 lbs is gonna gain me another 5-7 MPH. I add a 150-170 lb passenger to my car down the strip and I only lose 1-1.5 MPH and 1-2 tenths.

transam....... of course your not gonna have higher than a 110 mph you have just a LM and no headers and your 60s arent the best, if you get a DRs and hit a 1.8 you run a 12.5 garranteed.
those were the major things
heres everything i can think of.................................
manifolds < headers big weight difference
swaybar
rear seats
rear seatbelts
pass seat (only at the track)
spare tire
jack
factory hood < WS9 Hood full fiberglass
standard exhaust < True duals dump at axle
egr removed
air removed
windshield washer resivor removed
foam front bumper removed... like 5 lbs, cause im putting a different bumper on
Added SFCs
Added Relocation Brackets
Not weighed w/ skinnies or Sway bar removed
That is it....
Ive called people out before AND ill DO IT AGAIN!!!
this is my offer.......and if im wrong ill pay for it
YOU or ANYONE can put up the money and We'll head to a SHOP they can tear my motor down and show that everything is SI along w/ STOCK CLUTCH and STOCK 10 BOLT w/ 3.42 gears
and While were there they can put my cam in....
I have creditable witnesses and i have a vid of me only runnin a 12.3 here it is

Callin' me out for what? All I said is with your RWHP and amount of weight removed that it didn't make sense. And so what if all I have is just a LM: I'm still making nearly the same numbers as you, with just an extra 200 lbs. It just doesn't make any sense how 117 MPH would be achieved with just that. Cutting a 1.8 60' would get your times low, but certainly wouldn't improve your speed any.

i know its odd and so did i....theres only 1 other person i knove of that did what i did and thats DURIEN whos on the eastern section alot.
not just you callin out but anyone that wants to call BS on the fact the i still have SI no cam,heads,or spray
I havent been dynoed since the ls6 intake,ported TB and ported MAF housing was installed, Im guessing i have around 350-360 rwhp now
I was only trapping 112 until i added the skinnies,removed the sway bar, and installed my own version of the BGRA
im not trying to be a dick or anything, im just giving the facts about my car and what it did
not just you callin out but anyone that wants to call BS on the fact the i still have SI no cam,heads,or spray
