T/A, Audi s4, stang Gt, ws6, race hey guys im racing tonight. i am running against one of my friends 00 mustang Gt. hes got hooker LT,x-pipe, dynomax bullets, diablo predator tuner, 3:73, drag radials, intake plenum, and a stage 3 clutch. im an 99 T/A cutout, and MTI lid. also there is gonna be an 02 Audi s4 with chip, exhaust, and intake. and an 00 or 01(not sure) ws6. with pacesetter Lt, and duals, lid and someother stuff. so it will be fun. i dont think i have that big of a chance ahainst the GT. we r going froma roll. probably 40 mph. maybe a dig too not sure. but what do yall think my chances are against the GT? if he beats me he wont get more than 2 cars on me i dont think. and im probaly gonna race the s4 too.

i am assuming you have a six speed, which will make or break your race from a 40mph roll, but it should be very close, the mustang would be a lot quicker out of the hole but hes got a lot of things done to that car....should be a good race, could go either way

no i have an A4. hes got a 5 speed. im gonna drop it into 2nd when i run. becasue i dont wanna wait for the tranny to drop a gear and let him get the jump.

if you can't beat that mustang...you need to get another car... a guy i know has an 04mustang with all the same mods,except the clutch...oh,and he's got a KB S/C, @6 psi...he ran a best of 13.7@104 at Bradenton motorsports park...(mustangs are just slow..i should know,i HAD an 03..) my 93 Formula,with K&N CAI, and Borla catback, ran 13.3@109 all day... u should beat him

well turns out that there were two s4's there. in stead of one. 00 and 01 S4, 01 ws6, and a 00 GT, and of course me 99 T/A.
first run was verse the 00 GT and the 01 S4 (only mod was an intake i think) we went from a 45 roll. i only droppe my car in third for the first race and they both jumped on me but i pulled tha audi at about 70 mph and kept on pulling i had about 2 cars on him when i shut it off at 115. the GT got me by about a car (i think, because he was two lanes away from me so i couldn;t tell how close we were.) after the race was over i noticed i still had my air conditioner on too.
second run: same race me vs. the 00 S4 and the 00 GT. this time i turned the air conditioner off and droopped my car into 2nd so i got a much better jump. GT still got half a car on me from the 45-50 roll but i never saw his bumper. we were side by side at 125 mph but then we had to shut it down because of an 18 wheeler up ahead. we both beat the S4 by about 3 cars i think. we never got to race again because a bout 5 minutes after our run a massive down pour of rain hit us so we all went home.

I had a GT with Cold Air,Underdrives,Throttle Body,and spacer,Upper Plenum,and spacer,plugs and wires.3:73,Full Mac Exhaust,drilled and slotted rotors,carbon firber Saleen hood,18' Chrome Bullit wheels with nittos
I now have a 99 TA M6 with only a Cat-Back and ill pull all my money on the TA from a DIG OR ROLL,DIG will be close but around 1/8mile range youll pull hard as **** on that GT,and a roll youll have no prob with
