98 ss conv vs 04 mach 1 hey guys race an 04 mach 1 last week all stock and beat it at a rolling race and out of the hole as well,it was auto just like me wat do u think?

Not bad at all, but I think the auto Machs are kinda slow from the factory.. They have a different motor then the 5 speeds and they can't run as high rpm.. Good run though..

Not much of a FORD guy , but why would they have different engines?
Would'nt only the tranny or the gears be different!

i read somewere auto mach1's run 14.1 and 5 spd run13.8.but then i read that a conv ss due to it weight should run like a 13.8 as well correct?i weighted my car at a truck stop w/ a full tank of gas and it was 3600lb exact
