Ricer Sting I was riding shotgun in my buddy's Acura watching a 350ZX, Toyota Celica, and I think a Civic or something, race on the highway. I had a camera runnin watching all of this by the way.
They went from about 45-50 MPH until about 90-100 I would say. We were behind them going around 85 but my friends Acura wasn't as fast as the 350 or Celica. Well anyways they start weaving through traffic and stuff. They are finally forced to slow down to the flow of traffic.
As soon as they do though a state trooper comes flying out of the emergency lane with his siren on and pulls over the Honda and Celica. The 350 keeps on going like he is just some innocent motorist. I think the cop wanted to pull him over as well but there was too much traffic.
Turns out the Celica and Honda was impounded and the drivers jailed. Don't know what happened to the passengers. Makes me glad I still have to get my flywheel machined and balanced, but then again I don't race in traffic.
