Default Gods motor went prowling last night

Was out where we all meet up last night. Had a run setup with a bolt-on 302 stang. Ran him 3 times, 1st run from 40 roll, strong but not my sweet spot , pulled him 4 cars up to 120, 2nd run however was from a 50roll, definitely my sweet spot took it up to 130ish, had at least 5-6 cars on him...choo chooooooo ! 3rd run he said **** it and wanted a 2 car spot from 50mph, he hit it and i kept it in 3rd at 50 (of course car falls flat on it face for a second ) but ended up catching him around 115ish and took it up to around 140 amtracking him hard! The fastest ive had this car. It was fun, as always. Then a buddy of mine ran his Evo against a turbo hatchback, i was the camera car with a buddy in the car, and lined up behind the evo when an 05 GTO LS2 pulls up beside me behind the hatch, so we fall back a bit and when the evo and hatch hit it we did as well...he got a 1 car lead on me but to my surprise i was pulling back up on him in 5th!! Made my day, 400hpLS2 vs 325hp LS1??? Im happy with that...Didnt actually pass him so technically he won, but i would of passed him...i think it was just a driver to driver thing, me being a bit better possibly. Also ran a 4.6 GT stang w/ bolt ons and a 100shot, 1st run dead even, 2nd run i pulled him out 1 car when he missed a gear, but he was not catching back up on spray...was a very fun night. Possible vid to follow in media section...

Just a quick FYI, the LS1 makes 350hp, although its rated at 325
Also the goats weigh more than F-bodies.

not to call bs on that, but please show me where an LS1 makes 350hp...you may be thinking of the C5 LS1 vette that makes 345, i have never heard an F-body stock LS1 making 350hp...just wondering...i dont think the goat weights too much more then the f-body, maybe 200lbs at most...and yes i was in the LS1, dont run the talon on pump gas, and its down for an even bigger turbo right now anyways..sold the 61 and going to a SBR T-67 thanks for the props...will definitely get the vid up in the next couple days...i couldnt believe the gt with bolt-ons and a 100shot didnt pull me id be one pissed off mustang owner

All LS1 engines from 1997 to 2002 made the same hp give or take 5. Earlier years had a more aggressive cam while the later years had better heads and the ls6 intake. Each of them making roughly 350 fwhp.
GTOs weigh a considerable amount more than f-bodies and normally weigh in between 3750 and 3900lbs.

yes 3600, so i wouldnt call between 150-300lbs considerable...maybe 500lbs, ok les get technical, i had my buddy in the car with me and the GTO dude was by himself, my buddy weighs 180lbs, so there "technically" wouldnt be much if any weight advantage in my situation if what you are saying is correct. Although i do agree they weight more.

Vettes 350 rating was Flywheel power, F bods 305-325 (Z28 to SS) was rear wheel ratings to make the Vette guys feel better

3600lbs is a freakishly light weight GTO. If you want a real feel for the performance difference take the time of an ls1 gto vs the time of an ls1 f-body. 13.5-8 vs 13.2-5 for average times. I'd say its a big differance.
