This is a rematch of a race that happened between both cars two weeks ago in which the cobra lost $500. the mods for the cobra are pulley, cat back, etc etc ..he claims 470rwhp. the z28 has long tubes, lid, filter and nitrous (unknown shot). I wasnt there to see this race, but i know the driver of the mustang is a turd and the camaro's driver is a really good driver.
This is how the rematch looks:
the mustang will have nitrous (100shot from what i heard) and an awesome driver that is a die hard ford fan and is putting out the 2 thousand dollars. the z28 will have slicks on, may be a bigger shot of nos and a unknown cam.
it is a rolling race (30mph roll i believe) and if both cars jump then the race is on. You cant jump and then let off since that is what usually takes place around here. if you bite someone else's jump then you cant let off.

Well, I've seen alot of NO2 Cobras move out on just a 75 shot, but if this Z was stock internally and walked him once, I say w/ a cam and more NO2 on the Z, the Z wins AGAIN. Are both cars going to be on Slicks or just the Z? I also imagine the Z is is on a 150 shot at least. I would go 200 shot to be safe for the money ur running for. Even if the Cobra jumps and the Z chases, in the end, still the Z! A 100 shot on that cobra is going to do wonders though. I wanna VID!!!!!!!!!

just the z will be on slicks. the cobra has drag radials and i am being told that the z will be on a 200 shot. the owner of the z is a former vette owner who sprayed 225 shot for years on his vette with just having a fuel pump upgrade. he is also a very good driver and knowing him i am sure he will get the jump.

Wow, I'd never drop $2k if I was the Cobra guy simply b/c the Z guy knows what the Cobra has but the Cobra guy really doesn't know what the Z has.

Personally I think the Z will win. It will probably be pushing around 600rwhp and the Cobra around 570rwhp. It's close either way, but my vote is for the Z.

A 100 shot should give the cobra over 100rwhp easily so I'd say both are making around 600rwhp. However due to weight and slicks, I think the Z will edge him out. Be sure to give us an update as it seems no one ever finds out the results of these things.

from my understanding the cobra is tuned for a 150 shot. it will be on drag radials and the z28 wants a 30 mph roll ..no higher than that.

$2k dollars here.. i am thinking it is going to be funny to watch them both trying to get the jump. when they last raced, i was told that they took foreeeeeeeeever to finally punch it because one would get the jump and the other wouldnt jump and vice versa so they went for miles on the interstate trying to jump at the same time lol..

Yeah really, why the hell don't they just honk 3 times, or have a pace car honk 3 times, so neither has an advantage. They'll run out of road before they finally race this time, being $2k is on the line.

no he didnt spray last time..he was just with his 470 rwhp and he will spray this time. also, they wont run out of road since this is done on the interstate and the camaro will have a cam and spray or just more spray. i wouldnt be surprised if he sprays 200 shot though. he has done it before and without issues..

well, i tell you one thing, if the mustang loses then it is going to be hell for him here. he wont show his face around the scene for a long time. however, the owner of the car is the slow turd. he puts it in 1st, lets the other guy get the jump then he naisl it and as he is going to shift to second he first has to stop to grab the cheeseburger then puts it down and then shifts to second and so forth. the guy is a handicapped driver..weighs about 330lbs.

I don't understand why they are doing a roll race... Have all of those mods and waste the potential of what it was put there for. Do the race from a dig to get the ultimate bragging rights. You want to race from a roll, get a supercharger or turbo and go to 150 MPH
