Blown '05 Roush GT vs. '01 A4 Z28 Friday night was awesome. I was riding shotgun with my buddy in his '01 Z, as my car is still awaiting it's tranny. His car just has a FlowPac (couldn't talk him into spending that money more intelligently), but it's also pretty damn light, cloth interior...not too many options. It also has 3.23's, to his advantage. Our buddy has a 2005 Roush Stage I (just body kit and interior mods) Mustang GT with a Vortech S-trim blower. He has an intercooler, but for some reason he had Ford install it, and they set in to only run 6psi for 'warranty reasons'. ??? Anyway, people hype that car up SO much, and I was looking forward to racing him, thinking that the car would be pretty quick. Well, my buddy raced him, with three guys in his car and two guys and two light girls in the Roush, from a roll and a dig. It was ugly...quite ugly. The Z spun all through first and still pulled the GT by about a car. From a roll it was even worse. I don't know if its weight, bad driving, or the car not running right, but that GT was nowhere near what I expected. BTW this is the same blower that brought the GT to a 13.0 in Motor Trend. Ford...haha.

HUmm heavier car with 4 peaple in it.Vs a car with 2 peaple in it..
Plus 6psi doesnt make for a lot of power esp if a dealer installed it and "detuned" it for warrenty reasons.
But either way its a kill..

Thats funny,lol. I have a guy up here that just got one and had the factory install a blower on it ..... and to quote him...its the badest mother ****** around here. He is in his late 30's and this is his first car, so i sent word to him that anytime he wants to see what the *** end of a z 28 looks like just let me know and ill show him.

the kid with the roush is a turd. My friend in his 02 z28 and i in my 95 z28 where cruising around orland and we saw him and we played around for a bit. I asked him to line up for some money in my mild bolt on lt1 and he told me he was scared of my car. I was like WTF. 
i dont see why he spent all that money on a car he couldnt drive.

i dont see why he spent all that money on a car he couldnt drive. Yeah, Kevin (Roush kid) is a buddy of mine, but he doesn't know how to drive, and tends to be a little scared of any kind of challenge. Honestly, I doubt that his car will be around for much longer. It's ok, mine's faster anyway...
