Unhappy is it woth it

ok i think about this all the time a lot, im not preaching about it to anyone, cause i do it but lately i've been wondering if its worth it, and a few days ago there was something ont the news about a kid 19 years old the same age as me hitting a van and killed them while street racing and now he has 45 years in pison, so his life is totally ruined, i mean dont get me wrong i do it but lately im real hesitant and i wonder to my self if its worht killing myself another perosn, going to prison, or gettin my car towed, i guess it was a big realtiy check i dunno, so i may sell my car and give it up i dunno, before i go to bed i set and think about this beacuse i race non stop all the time

I couldn't control myself either, so I sold my street car
But, I went to Skip Barber, learned Road Racing skills, and now I have a track car!

why street race at all ?
take it to the track!

i don't know, its just hard for me to understand why risk so much for a little adrenaline rush
i build up my car as a hobby, i like to see it develop into something a little better than it was ... oh, and the fact that things keep crapping out on me help too, they are an excuse to replace broken stuff with upgraded components

one day i'll make it to the track..

just don't street race dude, what are you proving? to who?

I wish the track was closer than two hours one way. If we had a track up North, I'd be there every open track day. In it's place we have a couple of spots with no access for over a half mile way out in the country. It ain't the track but it's fairly close to being one.

Why do you HAVE to street race? There are so many tracks around its crazy to try and street race nowadays.

Its hard to go to the track when the closest one is 1 1/2-2 hours away. I went 2 years without street racing, but a person can only take so much **** talking. Im not supporting it,but I understand. If you do it be smart,do it at night on a country road with out any people around.
