Default anyone owned by bikes??!!

I've ran into a few rockets (600cc mostly) and I ran into my first Honda 929rr and asked if he wanted to run from a roll. Granted I knew I was about to lose my ***, but he went with it. Anyway, kid was a total ******* during and after, either way, w/ around 440 at the wheel now, think I could hold this wanna be biker boy off w/ 150 shot that I have been planning? Either way, I wanna beat this kid now, just because of his attitude.

Ran from 60 mph and it took him till about half way threw 3rd for him to pass me. I have read some post and I know it takes some serious power to hold these bigger bikes off, just wondering what some people have ran into. ****, I have damn near beat 900's, but it was the riders fault.

There's absolutely no way you'd come close to beating a 929RR with only a 150 shot. No chance, no how, no way.

i ran a bike two weeks ago from a dig. i have no clue if it was a 600 -750cc but i was on slicks and i'm lo-10's on the hose. the first race his front wheel was comming off the ground and he lost bad,so he wanted another go. the second race he did better, much better but i still got him.

Ditto.

Now you might be able to beat the rider on the bike, but not the bike.

Someone needs to make this a sig quote-

"You have every chance in the world of beating the rider; no chance in hell of beating the bike."

I owned a 929rr for 4 years and now have a 954rr. The only way you're going to win is if the rider is a dumbass and doesn't know how to race or if you can run low 10's on the street. I only went to the track once on a bike and that was on the 929 and I ran a 10.4 at around 132. Keep in mind this was my first and my only trip to the track on a bike...bottom line they're ridiculous fast.

I already knew this bike was impossible to beat, but like was mentioned, the rider is a squid (wannabe). I've had a few bikes myself, even stunt them occasionaly w/ a local stunt group (D-Aces), either way, I know how to ride them, and I was ahead of him from the roll and the dig way to long for him to be a "Good" rider. So, in my opinion, I think this rider, not the bike, will be going down in the next month or so.

440rwhp and a 150 shot and you should be able to take down 600cc and maybe 750cc...but the 1000cc bikes are a whole different story. I ran and 05 Yamaha R1. We went from a first gear punch off of me. I had the 150 tnt shot. 1st and 2nd I held my own, but once I shift into 3rd the 1000cc bike just out mile an houred me big time. You would have to have a 700-800 rwhp car to stay with a 1000cc bike and good rider.

i just don't get why the bike crowd want to race cars. for the most part they know they will win,but they don't want to play with other bikes. that seems to be how it goes around here.the bike i raced the other night was only the 2nd bike i ever raced in 3yrs,if they don't want to bring their car out i don't bother to race them.

Yall dont think he should be REAL close to a 929rr when he has 440rwhp adn then a 150 on top of that? That shold be little more then 600 at teh wheels. That would be well into the 10's after a couple passes, no? I know with my car at 14 psi when i raced a 2002 R1 from a 1st gear roll i had 3 cars on him when i went into 5th gear. GL man

ill race you in my 954RR and i gaurantee you i will walk your ****. that kid obviously does not know how to ride. the 929 is only a few cc's lower but there is no way unless that kid sux *** at riding.

im still in first gear until 78mph. and i imagine he would be up there too. the newer class 600's are about the same thing in first gear and some higher. i get to about 125 into second also. there is no way

but hey whatever

sweet car btw it is on my list of things to get in the near future on top what the bike and TA

bigbadblackws6 : As I mentioned, I know for a fact I do not have the power to out run a 929rr or as u mentioned, a 954rr, which my buddy has, and I have messed w/ him for fun. From a 25 roll, he had lke 2 bus lengths on me by 80 or so. He is a average rider I guess. When he bought the bike, he pulled a 10.74 at Byron. That was his 2nd bike only and just had bought it. What should that 2003 954rr run in the 1/4 w/ a good rider. By the way, I already have run down 2004 Honda 600rr w/ what I have now.

The 954's run around a 10.2 w/ a good rider. Sounds like the 600RR rider can't race either. That bike is capable of high 10's in the quarter.

I have that problem in my town. Alot of people jump on new, big cc bikes for their first bike ever and can't ride them. Also, there are no cars in my town! So I do what I can. It sucks bad.

the few 600's ive raced i walked pretty good...ive gotten a few 750 as well. havent had the chance to race anything bigger yet but i can imagine it'll be a much differant story cause i barely inch by 750's unless we take it up past 120..than they walk me after that.
goodluck
