Default bolt on 03 cobra vs 408 camaro

Well i was was coming back from my buds shop one night heading home. I stopped at a light and saw a nice red cobra pulling up next me, i rolled down the window and asked what he had done..the guy told me all bolts on, pulley, intake, chip, headers, ect... not once did he ask what i had done..so i thought..he must not lose much lol So he give me some revs and i stay quite..light turns green and we both nailed it...i pulled on him hard out off the line by at least two cars around 40ish and hit traffic. Once the lanes open up a bit we went from a 50mph roll. He got the jump (try to do the 3 honks, i guess he was mad ) got about a half car on me, then I started to gain some ground. i start to pass him going about 70 and shut down at about 120 with me 3 cars ahead.

We raced 2 more times, I tried to use the spray but the juice was empty and just dumping fuel. I only got the cobra about a half a car before i noticed my tnt kit was slowing me down and poping. 3rd race was the same as the 1st, me by 3 cars.

I gave the guy a thumbs up but he never looked over. i do admit that was the fastest stange i ever raced. It was a goodnight overall

yeah I would of liked to have the bottle filled and put about 6-8 cars on him, but it also feels nice to beat a car with a pwr adder with my all motor.

Just being curious but how does that T-rex cam treat you on the street? I know you've got a few extra cubes to keep it mellow.

The Trex is very drivable imo with this motor. I drive this car back and forth to work every day and no problems. I spent hrs on the tune and got right with no cam surge w/ no drilling the TB on my a4. I might go a little bigger once I get somthing else to drive.
