beat an 03 Cobra raced a 03 cobra tonight on a street were a bunch of people were racing, you can only accelerate for about a 1/8 mile or less before you need to get on the brakes, but i beat him by a car. first we lined up and i did a decent burnout to get the nittos hot and as i was relining up i purged my system to get it ready and everyone starts yelling OMG NOS!!! like they have never seen a car with nitrous on it. soo anyways we launch and i get him off the start, but then 4k rpms roll round and my 100 shot kicks in and spinns my wheels like crazy, causing my car to shift too soon. It bogs into second and by this time he is catching up then no sooner then i got spray for about 100RPM'S and start pulling him aging i had to shut it down.
we really needed more room to see who would take who, but a race is a race.
BTW he told me( i don't know if this is all true, because it did not seem that fast.) that he has his blower Port and polished running 14-16psi forgot what it was, exhaust work, a few minor boltons, and a 75 dry shot which was not hooked up at the time.
needless to say i was not impressed, although the whine from the supercharger sure is loud!

lol yea he knew better to race me for money...but he still thinks he can beat me up top so i say we run him from a roll and put down some cash. yea he said he ground 3rd and spun a ton....which i don't belive...in a 03 cobra do you even shift into 3rd around 80-90?!?
