Raced a 85 5.0 I raced my friends 85 5.0. He has a root beer colored 50 with a white convertible top. He has a 302ci bored over 40 and alluminum heads etc. I don't know what else because I don't see him often. We raced when I was pretty much stock except for flomasters. We went from a 35MPH and it was dead even till I hit 3rd and he started pulling on me. Man, his car is fast. He's now selling it for 10k

Sure do. Never had a chance to race him yet. But I've heard some stories. I know its a fast car, I don't think my SS is ready but the ol Iroc should give it a good run.

I put down just over 400 to the ground.
Did he keep the carburetor set-up or did he change it to efi? One thing I like most about mine is when I pop the hood and everyone see's a blown carburated set-up it Draws a crowd.
Has he had any bites on the car yet. I also have had mine for sale for the same price. Lots of lookers but no cash in hand yet.
