me vs 04 z06 this morning i was driving down the interstate when a good looking yellow z06 flew up on me. it was a yellow 04 z06 with a fixed headlight kit and what looked like a dual cowl hood...regardless it was a damn good looking z. my first instinct is to get the cars in front of me out of my way, so i kinda lean into the gas and the cars in my lane move to the right lane, so i accelerate and get past em and move over in front of them, and wait for the z06 to pull up beside me, instead it just passes me. i wasn't gonna let it stop there, i've been anxious to see how i stack up with one since i put my cam in. so i get back over behind it and stay there kinda jumpin my car a little bit to show i wanna go. so he runs the traffic outta the way in front of him, and the path is cleared... i immediately drop it to 3rd (note: we're running at about 70 already...right near a vette's stong speed), he gets the idea and he guns it. he pulled ahead by about a car, by 100 he's got 2 1/2 cars on me...then i started sucking him in. but about 120 i was about to run his *** over and then i let out. we slow down for traffic, get past it and he wouldn't run again. that made my morning...z06 kill. probably won't happen much more...so i'll enjoy it for now.

sounds to me like the z06 let off. if from 70-100 he pulled 2 and a 1/2 cars then by 120 you were right on his ***. i would bet that he let off and was just coasting when you flew up on his ***. not talking **** about your car or anything. but i raced a 04' zo6 with just a catback exhaust and he put a couple cars on me up to 115 or so and i dont think i would have been catching him. and i put 394hp to the wheels so i figure me and you are pretty close in power.

I love all of these Z06 kills. I had a cammed and full bolt on WS6. My O2 Z is a mph and .3 tenths faster bone stock. And that was my first time to the track. I think there are some people out there that can't drive and are giving the car a bad name. No disrespect dude. But I think the drivers are getting beat and not the cars.
