SRT-10 vs SVT Lightining
Well my dad had his first race since getting the SRT-10 Ram this morning, me and my buddy in his Lightining ambushed his ***! Mods are SRT is stock, Lightining has 12# pulley, K&N, and Flowmaster Catback. Waited for him outside his neighborhood when he left for work. We lined up from a 20 roll, my buddy honked and on 3 man that SRT took the **** off. It was sick, he ended up pulling like 6 trucks on my buddy by the time he let out. Now my friend is all butthurt about it but oh well congrats to my old man for the win!

the srt-10 does 13.1 in 1/4 stock..and handles better than most cars.. i believe it's .89 g's. it should stomp a lightning even a modded one.. the lightning isn't all that slim either

It was a 20mph roll, traction was MUCH less of a factor. The SRT10 has better hp/weight ratio I would think, also, from a roll the T56 tranny vs the automatic of the lightning gave him a gearing advantage. I am not suprised.

Working at a ford dealership, I had the chance to see/drive a pullied/chipped 02 Lightning. It was nice, it felt almost EXACTLY like my old 95 LT1 Trans Am. On the other hand, a sales 360 team came through and had a SRT10 and at 50 mph he could ROAST the tires...must give much respect. We never ran the two, sadly b/c the GSM's son blew the motor in our 02 by over-revving it as the chip disabled the rev-limiter. It was replaced and he was fired (GSM)

Sorry Im not beleiving that the SRT10 can run low 13s stock no way.. a stock lightning will kill a heavy SRT10 yea it has 500HP but its like driving a motorhome with 500HP its not gonna get moving that quick compared to a lightning its like 500 army ants trying to carry a hippo just not enough
