This girl from work wants to race me on my T/A. I did some research and found out her car stock is rated at 120 hp and weighs a little over 3000 pounds. All shes told me is that she has a shot of nitrous. I did the math and I think I can beat her, unless she has a bigger shot of something else. So far I've only raced on the freeway, any tips as far as drag racing What do you guys think?

umm yeah this shouldnt even be in question.........

using a Et calculator, which arent really that accurate, she would in theory have to have roughly 260 FWHP to run a 13.4 @ 103 in a 3150 car including her weight.

with that said her car makes somewhere around 100 FWHP stock. ill leave it up to you as to just how big of a shot it would take to make it up to 260 FWHp or even 200 FWHP at that.

I bet my 97 GMC Jimmy 4x4 would beat her car of the bottle.

Yeah she's hot, but she's already taken (ring on her finger). At first she ask me if I wated to race when she found out I have a T/A, she was only messing around. But then I told her I'll race her for pinks and she answered "I don't want to take your car away." Then I asked her what the stock hp rating was on her car and she told me it wasn't stock. Then I got her pissed when I asked if she had "laugh gas with the big 50 shot". She bagan saying she was going to kick my *** if I didnt shut-up.
I'm still payin for my car so I don't even have my pink slip. I guess I'll try to make some easy money

I heard that our cars rumbles can actually make a Subaru/Mitsu turn off. There were some guys with those cars at the track and at idle, they were complaining that the rumble from all the Camaros/Firebirds killer their cars, and they had to start themback up.

I think thats funny as hell, as for this Lancer, even if she has a 100 shot which I SERIOUSLY doubt she does you will still spank that ***. Race her from a stop and it will be even funnier. Either way there is no question you will beat it. Ask to take a look under the hood

I think she has a chance!!!!! From what I heard from a co-worker, she has it supercharged(don't know the boost), a full exhaust and intake. Her hexhaust isn't loud, it sounds stock, and you can't hear any whines fromk the supercharger. I don't know much about imports, but about how much of an increase of power do you guys think she would have? She has a muanual tranny, by the way

Big friggin deal. If you can drive, you will beat her. There's no substitute for torque & she has none. If you're still worried, tell her to bring a passenger to video the event. Because of her lack of torque, the passenger's weight will bog her down. Get on with it.
