Default need help on purchasing some DR's

I have a 00WS6 w/ mods (in sig) and 18x9's wheels in the rear, I have a set of track tires and wheels but I need a set of street radial tires. I can not launch my car at all on the street and I need a tire that will hook decently on a good black top. I am looking at BFG's and Nitto's and if you have any suggestions post up... also I would like to know what kind of mileage I can expect.

Thanks

Wrong forum... but I'd recommend BFG's over the nittos, if money is no object. Nittos are a better value, in terms of performance to dollar ratio, though.

The new MT ET's are the best DR out there in hooking terms, also most expensive and with a very short life span (I have heard 3-5K) Next are BFG drag radials, with a life span of about 5-8K depending on how you drive them. The worst hooking/longest lasting (and the ONLY ONE i would ever drive on in the rain) are the Nitto 555 DR's which should last 12-15K miles but after 5-8K I would question their use in rain.

BFG's are meant to be run even after all tread is gone...just not on the street. They still have useful track life.
