WS6 almost owned by PD
I drove out to see my new boss on some side work I am doing... Some pretty cool BIG diesel engine conversions and some design work for his company...
We got a *** load of rain the last few days plus a downpour last night. So the shortway there was closed due to major flooding but it was open on the way back...
I am cruising towards the last light before the road becomes a HWY...
I see a black WS6 with its left signal on at a intersection to my right.. Sure enough he sees me switches to a right signal.. A fishtailing right turn and accelleration to 45 (puddles still everywhere)..... As we near the light he moves closer and closer to me.. He revs and spins them as he moves for the lane to my left.... Hey look... Right at the light in the lane he lit em up to show off in (on a wet road.. wow right?)... Yep a state police car
He quit acting stupid especially when after green the cop slowed and faked a hwy exit so he could fall in behind him....
w/o the 5-0 there I would have probably ignored him as there was too much traffic and it was'nt worth my time.... Anyway racing RWD cars from a stop on a seriously wet road with AWD is so easy I dont even count them as wins....
I have alot of GM V8 High perf friends and have built a few my self.... I know they all dont look like rob zombie and act like idiots....

It's sad to hear of an idiot driver like that in our ranks.
There should be an LS1tech F-body Owners Oversight Committee to draft up a commission and relay directives to some badass LS1's to go confiscate his car and then proceed to punish him with several consecutive Roman War Helmets with a photographer there to take a pic for each.

The guy I sold my 95 LT1 to lost control of it going in a straight line in dry weather...Previously, I learned the best lesson of my 19 year life in that car, DO NOT FLOOR IN CORNERS, cost me 2K in repairs, but noone got hurt and i turned the car for a 1800$ loss, not bad, but I learned from it and I now refrain from crap like that in my 5.0. What I did was induced by sleep loss and some idiot chasing me on a 4-wheeler at 10PM and having bald tires. I learned from it, it happens, but racing in wet weather WTF!?!?!?!?!?

yeah i really dont get people sometimes. RWD + wet weather = HUGE deduction from your bank account. theres not a simpler formula to learn on how to save money while driving a powerful RWD car.

Even I try avoid lighting them up when it is wet...
You can go from a wet patch to a dry one and back again which does funky **** to your drive line in the shock loading department
Honestly if I tried to light them up on purpose as opposed to drive for the best ET... I could probably light all 4 up on a dry road but I would be destroying the driveline.
I did destroy a cobra in heavy rain out east... I knew the guy and he was a horses a#$.... I really did'nt go all out.... Tap into about 400hp out of ~680 put it down thru AWD and it makes enough of a point vs a stock pony driven by a guy who cant change his own oil....

Even with good BFG's street tires, the slightest blip of the throttle and the rear end breaks loose. There for I no play in the rain. I wanna keep my car as long as I can. But if I get cuaght in the rain while on the road, i know just to take her easy.....
