hate to post this bcause its a friends car but here goes.on our way back from ffw in bowling green my buddie in mach1 calls on cell to slow to 60 i do three honks later we are off hes got 410 program and a magnapack cat back sounds awesome he pulls in front right away i hold his tail till @ 75 then start pulling hard and pass by at@90ish.i was in third at 3k kinda a bad spot for me rather go from 4k.but i pulled back just the same.i ashed if he let off he says no and i got a bad as car. its all fun. ffw= fun ford weekend. is it me or do we get a lot of respect from ford guys?

I had the same thing happen to me the other day a buddy with an 03 mach 1 with catback and programmer comes rolling up...40 mile an hour....1 st gear for me He has a pretty car but I walked him by like 4 cars by the time we hit 70. He hadn't raced me since the cam went in.

Yeah, if you had went to 2nd at 60 you woulda pulled him immediatly. I go to 2nd at 65mph and under, just don't forget to rev match. Good kill BTW!

I went to the last two FFW in Ennis Texas prior to this year. I had a blast, lots of real nice guys in awesome cars. The drag racing was awesome. I loved every inute of it. However.............(you knew it was coming from a Chevy guy) I still would rather have my Vette.
